There have been many emails and posts on the forum on why it takes so long to post a result.

The main reason is that a lot of the fights are in smaller venues and aren’t televised so results take awhile to feed to the news and boxing sites. These results at the moment then need to be manually input by the Centsports Admin.

I have personally spent quite a bit of time combing through the various boxing sites/forums trying to locate the results.

Last weekend we had an unusual occurrence with some of the South African fights which took over 24 hours to be updated. The reason for the this was the fights actually got postponed for 24 hours and were fought on Saturday.

A good site to check your boxing results/stats is Boxrec.

People have been asking for it for awhile and UFC/MMA lines have now been added. This weekend’s Mixed Martial Arts fights lines are now available for your viewing pleasure.

I am surprised that this has been added before the return of the Tennis and Boxing lines after the problems that happened before. Hopefully any problems have been ironed out. But I am happy to see more sports being added as the more the merrier.

So tonight we see the first of the boxing action since it has been added to CentSports. So Izzeh The Aussie who has lately been having a spectacular run on his NBA selections has placed a hopeful underdog parlay on 5 boxers. It wouldn’t be a bad result for a 5 cent bet, in the last 24 hours I have seen a lot of similar parlays being placed. Though I might have to do a few single moneyline bets on the underdogs you just never know, all it takes is one lucky punch.

Ok for all those people that have been waiting for the new sports to appear your wishes are being granted and also the”Cancel Bet” button has returned.

Boxing was added early this morning and Soccer will hopefully be added tomorrow in time for the Champions League games, followed by Tennis, Rugby and MMA hopefully very soon also.

You are probably wondering why it takes so long for them to add the new sports. Well the main reason is Centsports has to test them with their score provider to make sure they are working correctly. You may have noticed on the forum many people are always willing to moan about the smallest things so if you are like me I would rather they got the new sports added correctly than a rush addition. A little wait will give me time to save some funds up for some nice large bets as Soccer is my number one sport. Hopefully it will be my main moneymaker over the coming months.

So for the time being you can save up for your Friday and Saturday night boxing matches.
