A Point Spread is the number of points added to or subtracted from a team’s actual score for betting purposes.

The favorite is indicated by the minus sign “-” and the underdog is indicated by the plus sign “+”. To determine the winner for betting purposes, the Point Spread is added to the final score of the team you bet on. Point Spread rules are as follows:

• To win the bet, the team the bettor wagered on must win by the Point Spread.
• Games that tie when taking the point spread into consideration are no action which means the original bet amount will be refunded.
• The odds are $1.10 to win $1.00 (-110) unless otherwise indicated.
• The bettor cannot place a Point Spread bet on opposing teams.
• The bettor can place a Point Spread bet on one team and a Money Line bet on the opposing team.
• The bettor can combine a Point Spread bet with a Totals bet.
• The Point Spread may change between the time the bettor places his bet and the time the event starts; regardless, his bet is subject to the point spread displayed at the time he placed his bet.

If you are wondering how to edit some of your information then please follow the instructions below.

First of all you need to locate and click the “Account” button which is found below the Mr T graphic.

The next page offers two links.

• Change Your Password
• Change Your Account Information  (Name or Email)

So choose which you need to edit and click the appropriate link

Now all you need to do is put the requested information into the boxes and click “Change Password” or “Change Info” and you are done.

So you have had a bad run of bets and unfortunately lost all your money.  Well its not Game Over, you can collect a new free 10 cents by clicking the coin that appears on your main page after you have logged in.

The coin will also appear whenever your balance is below 10 cents and have no active bet so you can re-load your account back to 10 cents and start betting again.

Occasionally you will get the picture below that requires you to collect any crony earnings before you can receive you new free 10 cents. Please note that any crony earnings you receive won’t be added to your free 10 cents, it will only round your account up to 10 cents. It’s also recommended to collect your crony earnings as you receive them as crony bonuses that have been earned and not collected expire after two weeks.

This guide is designed to help you progress making your very first bet on Centsports.

You have now signed up for your new account and logged into the site, the first thing you need to do is receive your first free 10 cents. So click on the coin as seen in the picture below.

You have selected a game now you need to choose the type of bet to place, when you have chosen place a check mark in one of the boxes and press ENTER on your keyboard or the click “The Place Bet” button found at the top or bottom of the bet list.

• Spread - A spread bet is one in which you pick which team or player will cover the spread.
• Moneyline - A money line bet is one in which you pick which team or player will win the match straight up.
• Total Points - A total bet is one in which you pick whether the total amount of points scored in the match.

Having decided on your first bet you need to decide how much you will stake, you can place anything from 1 cent up to all your 10 cents. As you can always get your free dime back if you lose you may as well stake all your balance. The site will automatically place 10 cents into the Bet Amount as your balance climbs you alter this section to place higher bet stakes. Your potential winnings is in the bottom box this shows you the profit made on the bet, if the bet is won you will also get your 10 cent stake back also.

Click the “Place Bet” button to finalize your bet.

Now we see a page about the bonus which is offered, I recommend clicking the right green arrow as you can boost the amount of money your bet wins.



This is where you can choose the amount of bonus offered, as you have only 10 cents you can receive up to 100% bonus on your potential winnings. You can either continue clicking the blue arrow for a better bonus or click the green arrow to accept the offered bonus.

Your first bet is finally made and you see it on the bet homepage. Make sure all the details are correct as once the game starts you can’t cancel the bet. If there is a problem click the “Cancel Bet” button and start the process again.

The reason for the bonuses decreasing and vanishing is often asked on the forums so I thought it would be good to try and answer it here. With the use of my superb pictures.

Recently the way we earn our early bonuses has changed and we no longer have to view the videos to earn our bonuses. Personally I found they got boring and quite repetitive after viewing the same ad multiple times. The value of your bonus will depend on your current account balance tied up in sports bets not the cash you have left to bet with. The amount you have tied up can be easily seen in the top left corner of your account home page.

The first bonus you receive is a maximum of 100%. You will be able to earn this top amount when your value is up to 25 cents. Remember you are no longer offered 100% immediately you will be offered a value up to it and you can decide to accept the current offer or view another banner for a different value bonus.

So you have now won a bet or two and have over 25 cents, the good thing is you have more money to bet with but now your bonus is reduced. Between the value of 26 cents and 50 cents you will now receive a maximum 50% which is still good and will help you grow that much quicker.

You are now starting to get a nice balance building but, yes there is a BUT. You now only earn a maximum 25% bonus when your account value is between 51 cents and $3.00. Well maybe that isn’t so bad as this give you a larger range to receive bonuses.

Congratulations you have now reached over $3.00 and on your way to reaching a possible first payout if you decide to request it. Obviously you are getting too good at Centsports so you no longer get any bonuses while you are above $3.00. Though you will receive them again if your value goes back down below.

For all those that have visited CentSports today you will see there is a new addition the the crony system. This seems to be causing confusion with some people and was added mainly due to the problems via the email invite link. Now friends, family and anyone else can move themselves to be your crony with just a few clicks of the mouse button.

This is an additional feature and your crony link is still available to use.

Now I will show you how the new system allows you to add yourself to become a new friends crony.

First you need to add the person to your friends list . To do this click the “Search For Friends” button at the top of the page and add the persons name or email into the search boxes and press “Search For Friend”.

You will now see a list of people if the name or email was recognized. From the list select the person name and click “Add as your friend”. You will have to wait for your friend to click the confirm friend link before you see them on your friends list

Ok its taking a bit longer than a few click but we are getting closer. Now the person you added should be located in your “My Friends” list with your own name and probably Victor’s. So now click on your new friends name and you will see a nice big green arrow next to “Become this person’s crony” click that button and success.

You should now see the message below and now you moved yourself to be this person CentSports crony and friend.
