Single Bet Advertiser Betting Bonuses Explained (Not Parlays)
Written by Garion on March 29th, 2008 in Bonuses, CentSports Updates, Centsports Guides.
The reason for the bonuses decreasing and vanishing is often asked on the forums so I thought it would be good to try and answer it here. With the use of my superb pictures.
Recently the way we earn our early bonuses has changed and we no longer have to view the videos to earn our bonuses. Personally I found they got boring and quite repetitive after viewing the same ad multiple times. I much prefer the new design where we need to just view a banner or multiple banners to earn a better % bonus.
The value of your bonus will depend on your current account balance tied up in sports bets not the cash you have left to bet with. The amount you have tied up can be easily seen in the top left corner of your account home page.
The first bonus you receive is a maximum of 100%. You will be able to earn this top amount when your value is up to 25 cents. Remember you are no longer offered 100% immediately you will be offered a value up to it and you can decide to accept the current offer or view another banner for a different value bonus.
So you have now won a bet or two and have over 25 cents, the good thing is you have more money to bet with but now your bonus is reduced. Between the value of 26 cents and 50 cents you will now receive a maximum 50% which is still good and will help you grow that much quicker.
You are now starting to get a nice balance building but, yes there is a BUT. You now only earn a maximum 25% bonus when your account value is between 51 cents and $3.00. Well maybe that isn’t so bad as this give you a larger range to receive bonuses.
Congratulations you have now reached over $3.00 and on your way to reaching a possible first payout if you decide to request it. Obviously you are getting too good at Centsports so you no longer get any bonuses while you are above $3.00. Though you will receive them again if your value goes back down below.

Hey guys, this does not include anything about parlay bonuses. Personally, I have been at it long enough to understand, but I know it changes with a 2,3,4,5 games parlay and I could predict people reading this with a $.10 5-game underdog parlay that has a 100000000000x multiplier and be expecting a 100% bonus also!

I have updated the title to show this is for single bet bonuses only not parlays.

Are the bonuses tied to you’re overall balance or just what you choose to bet with? I have a balance over $3 and just made a 50 cent bet and received no bonus…

The bonus is tied to your overall balance.

Something that is not noted here, is that I suspect an advertiser bonus of >10% generally pushes the expected value of random betting away from the house and into your favor, assuming you only make bets on things like under/over(s) which are fairly unpredictable on the whole. Over/under bets tend to be -110 in favor of the house; factoring in a 25% advertiser bonus changes this to +115 in your favor. So a user, instead of making a small number of bets based on knowledge of the game, may arbitrarily take the over on all 16 MLB games played today, divide up one’s balance evenly between the games, and expect at least a 15% return.
As evidence, I’ve made roughly 40 under/over bets and easily pushed my balance above $3.00, winning about 50% of the time. If CentSports were to leave the advertiser bonus there, I could (with high probability) take them to the cleaners in a matter of weeks. No user should be stuck below a $3.00 balance for long if they adhere to this strategy, but this should also explain why the advertiser bonus must disappear at some point, and that a cashout level must be well above the advertiser cutoff point.

Why are my bonuses not showing up in my balance? I just opened with my $.10 and placed 3 bets, two were to win $.0545 with a 100% and an 80%, and one to win $.0126 with an 80% bonus, but now my total is just $.2216 which is the original $.10 +$.0545 + $.0545 + $.0126. Where (or when) do the bonuses show up? Thanks!
June 6th, 2008 at 4:03 pm
Bonuses are added into your win amount automatically when you place the bet.

We should have a bonus based on how many wagers we get correct in one week - the better you play the higher the bonus….. over $3 of course is the cut off level….. what do you think?

Jason I like the way its set up now but maybe some kind of competition would be good, maybe something like the person who has the highest winning % for a month with a minimum of 30 bets to qualify.
You can always post your idea on the forum and see what responses you get from the other members.

Sherman sorry for the delay in replying hopefully you found out you are able to change your email by clicking the “Account” button and then “Change your account information”
Matt you should be able to receive bonuses still if your account is under $3.00.

Garion, I just wanted to say that you are an animal about posting back to people. With people like you, it makes any blog or forum run correct.

Thanks visual I try to respond as much as I can, but these days I am a bit slow on replies. Hopefully I can get back to quick replies and get this blog running again.

I made a parlay on 4 different golf match ups that took place this past weekend and I only got a result from one of the four match ups. Does this mean that the other men did not play? Do I have to forfeit my bet or what?
October 27th, 2008 at 11:18 am
Scott was the parlay ever corrected if not post a link to your betting page so we can see what the problem is.
October 31st, 2008 at 4:47 pm
I got it fixed. Thanks man.

I was up to $7 at one point, and am since back down to $0.10. I have not seen anything but a 25% bonus since. Does the 100%/50% bonus disappear completely after you’ve reached a certain level?
December 27th, 2008 at 1:33 am
Hi Andy you should get the chance of all the bonuses when you are back to 10 cents.
If you want you can post your bet history link and I will check your account to see if I can see a problem.

Once you get your balance over 10.00, let’s say it grows to 50.00. What is the maximum bet? Someone told me it was capped, so you can’t win much?
February 14th, 2009 at 9:00 pm
The maximum you can win on each bet not including bonuses is $10.00.
February 19th, 2009 at 11:18 pm
i never seem to get the bonus when i win my bet. for example, i just won my 10 cent parley bet to win 55 cents plus a 25% bonus and i only recieved 65 cents. no 25% bonus. why?
February 20th, 2009 at 5:08 pm
What were the line odds for the bet, as the bonus is usually included in the win amount but early yesterday afternoon there was a temporary problem with the bonus not being added.
April 14th, 2009 at 12:56 am
I’ve just started but don’t seem to be getting any of the bonuses. Today I won two bets that paid 4 cents each. A 100% bonus on each of them would mean an additional 8 cents in my account, but right now, there is only 13. How do I get the bonuses credited to my account?
April 14th, 2009 at 1:24 am
Never mind. I placed a new bet and understand now. It’s included in the money listed once everything has been placed. To eliminate confusion that others and myself seem to have had, I suggest the listings should read “WITH 100% BONUS” and not “+100% BONUS”. The plus sign indicates that it is in addition to the number already listed.
April 28th, 2009 at 9:57 pm
If I forfeit my bet, will it still show up on my bet history?
April 30th, 2009 at 5:17 pm
I you forfeit the bet it will show as a loss on your bet history. If you cancel a bet before the bet closes you won’t see any bet details.

Is there anywhere that described the formula used to derive the winning amounts? I used to know how the other betting sites did it, and I thought I still remembered, but I can’t make it match up with what the site is reporting as the “to win” amounts, and yes, I am including the bonuses (or at least I think I am).
So for instance, I made a two team parlay bet with one at Even odds and the other at -165. That would (1.61 x 2.00 x BET AMOUNT) - BET AMOUNT to achieve the “to win”, and then of course apply the percentage, but my calculation is telling me I should be getting .33 cents on a .10 cent bet with a 100% bonus. The site is telling me it is to win .2820.
I know it may be nitpicking over .5 cents, at least in this case, but I just want to my understanding to match up with what I’m seeing.
May 14th, 2009 at 11:25 am
I’m sorry, I typo’ed and said with 100% bonus, it should have been with 50% bonus as it was a 2 parlay. But calculations still stand.
July 12th, 2009 at 4:29 am
((1 + multiplierA) * (1 + multiplierB) * (…) - 1) * 0.85
0.85 is the penalty for making a parlay, but the rest of it should be self-explanatory.

i’ve been trying to figure out if my bonus was added to to my account, and i noticed the words “Forfeit Bet?” appeared under one of my wins,
am i supposed to somehow accept my bonus somewhere?
October 18th, 2009 at 7:49 pm
alright im dumb…the “forfeit bet” appeared under a bet where the game hasnt started yet.
so i guess my new modified question would be is the bonus automatically added?
October 18th, 2009 at 9:51 pm
The bonus is calculated automatically into your win amount.
December 24th, 2009 at 9:24 am
Nice place..why are American odds only;I’d like to see decimals here as well,
December 24th, 2009 at 4:55 pm
Currently the line feed only provides them in an American odds format.

If I do a 4 or 5 game parlay and have between $0.50 and $1.00 is there any way I can get a bonus from the advertisements, because every time I do it never gives me the opportunity to have a bonus?
